Tim Boden, the principal, is a licensed Architect in the State of Idaho. Many of his design ideas are drawn from his exposure to European architecture as well as years of living in ski communities. This experience has shown him what materials and techniques are not only attractive, but also durable and environmentally friendly in high snow load conditions.
Most clients contact us after they have purchased property in the area. If you are new to the area, and plan on using architectural services, we strongly urge you to contact us during your property search to help assure that your goals can be achieved on your property. We have no relationships with any realtors and represent only your interests.
We
utilize advanced 3-dimensional architectural software to assist clients
in visualizing their home or commercial project throughout
the design refinement process, after an initial design via sketches
has been agreed upon. We are able to provide color renderings of any
aspect
of the structure showing sun angles, shadows and client materials and
can also provide virtual reality walkthroughs and other media on CD
or DVD. Of course, we can still construct scale models for those preferring
a
tangible
model to computer renderings.
After final design approval, we work with licensed structural engineers to finalize the working drawings, ready for bid or construction. If desired, assistance in bid evaluation as well as construction supervision can be provided to assure that all specifications and details are followed.
During
the design process, we build a team with you to achieve your goals. For
our typical higher-end homes,
this often includes a landscape architect and an interior designer.
Other specialties such as home automation, or home theater and sound
systems
consultants may be called upon as needed as well. Planning professionals
may assist with complex permitting and lot line adjustment matters.
